Randstad Education is the largest recruitment consultancy within the education sector and offers a unique network of over 30 offices throughout the UK. Each office offers a team of education specialists, which include dedicated primary, secondary, special needs (SEN) and early years consultants.

Randstad Education is in constant contact with the DCSF, Home Office and other government bodies on education-related topics, so that we can work through these changes and help schools and colleges adapt to them. We also partner and sponsor ground-breaking education research through influential and respected bodies, such as the Institute for Public Policy Research and the Campaign for Learning, that we believe will have a valuable impact on young people, teachers and lecturers across the UK. Our commitment to education is even linked through to the vision of our company, which is 'to inspire young minds through uncompromising service every day'. As a result, we have pioneered many aspects of educational staffing, from quality controls and systems through to introducing services for the SEN sector and teaching assistants. Everyone in our organisation is passionate about their role in child protection and the maintenance of high standards in education. We carry out stringent identity, CRB, qualification and reference checks and also insist on a face-to-face interview, so that we can match the skills, experience, personality and aspirations of our candidates to the requirements of the 15,000 schools, nurseries and colleges we work with annually. Randstad Education is highly committed to the professional development and training of its own staff and is an accredited Investor in People (IIP) organisation. As a member of the REC (Recruitment and Employment Confederation), we are bound by its Code of Practice for Education and in addition to interview training among other things, all our education consultants are regularly updated with the latest education industry developments to ensure our service provided is tailored to meet the specific needs of the situation. In fact, as many of our consultants are qualified teachers, they already understand many of the requirements of both schools and candidates. We are also accredited with the international quality standard BS EN ISO 9002.
