Domestic Abuse Support Workers
Band 4 £17,316 - £20,818 per annum
37.5 hours per week
You will work as part of multi-disciplinary Health Visiting and School Nursing Teams to provide specialist support for families affected by domestic abuse.
Your specialist knowledge and skills in working with families affected by domestic abuse will support your professional colleagues in assessing need and planning effective care for affected families. You will provide direct support to theses families acting as their key link into services and providing a consistent point of contact.
You will have a genuine concern for the welfare of children and families and will be committed to providing effective services for those affected by domestic abuse. With a sound understanding of the impact of domestic abuse on parents and their children, you will have skills and experience in working vulnerable families.
You will be supported to access training to Foundation Degree level and will receive regular clinical supervision.
