RAF Firefighters have to able to deal with a wide range of situations. They train to save the lives of aircrew and passengers in emergencies, prevent damage to aircraft making emergency landings and also respond to emergencies on RAF bases and living quarters. Firefighters are highly trained and qualified in fire safety and emergency response. It’s a job that demands courage, fitness and strength.
