Based in Derby and reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, our client requires an experienced Sales & Marketing Executive to join their busy sales & marketing team.
Purpose of the Job
- Responsible for the marketing and promotion to prospective participants to ensure contractual requirements are met.
- Responsible for providing Initial Advice and Guidance and carrying out inductions and initial assessments.
- Ensure customers are enrolled on the correct programme to enable them to join/rejoin the workforce
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Experience of working with long-term jobseekers and young people to prepare them for further training and/or employment and raise motivation and self-esteem.
- Previous recruitment and/or sales experience and be used to working to targets and deadlines.
- Experience of working with employers who are recruiting and of ‘cold selling’.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be emphatic, motivated, resilient and patient
- Ability to work flexibly as a member of a team
- Previous experience of helping people get back to work via coaching in letter & CV writing and completing application forms
- Good administration and IT skills
- A business-like and customer focused approach to learning and development pathways leading to employment
- Knowledge of local labour markets
- A proven track record of working with disadvantaged learners
NVQ3 in Advice and Guidance qualification is a requirement for this position along with experience of working with people to assist them back to work.
This role involves travel throughout the region therefore you should preferably have access to your own transport and have a full driving licence.
