*This is an opportunity for a children and families qualified social worker to make a difference in a busy team dealing with a variety of cases

*Ensuring that all records are accurately and properly kept using Care First
Overview
A qualified social worker is required to work in this children and families team for a leading social services department based in the West Midlands. Reporting into the Team Manager, you will work within a team of Qualified Social Workers and Assistant Social Workers to undertake child protection investigation enquiries
This is a temporary contract for a minimum of 3 months
Main duties
In your role as Qualified Social Worker Children and Families you will be responsible for:
*Undertaking assessments
*Undertaking child protection enquiries
*Ensuring that all records are accurately and properly kept using Care First
The successful QSW will also have some experience of working with children and families
Key skills
To qualify for this QSW Children and Families, role, you will need to:
*Be registered with the GSCC
*have experience of working within children and families team
*have a current CRB
*have current knowledge of the Children's Act
