An exciting senior level opportunity is available to work within the Project Services division to undertake and manage Temporary Works Design.
With 24 offices in the UK and Middle East, a workforce of over 2,000 in the UK alone and an annual turnover is in excess of £500 million you will be a part of an established market leader and a growing design team.
The Role:
Applicants from a good all round background in structural design will be considered however candidates with the following experience and skills will be desirable:
BSc/ BEng qualified Civil Engineer.
Ability to design in Steel, RC, Masonry and Timber.
Previous temporary works design experience in formworks, falseworks scaffolding, foundations and ground supports.
Ability to produce detailed calculations and drawings of structural steelwork elements.
This key position within the Birmingham office will involve the successful candidate managing and designing projects as well as supervising graduate engineers on all types of temporary works projects. You will be attending client meetings and occasionally teaching temporary works procedures as part of in-house training schemes.
