Looking after the social housing projects within the Stafford & Sandwell region. The job may require you to go to site but primarily the position will be office based.
95 % of the work carried out is decent homes, refurbs of tenanted properties, covering the west midlands. Currently there are projects in Stafford, Sandwell, Worcester, Cannock, Tamworth, Solihull and North Cheltenham.
6 years ago the head office turnover was approx £6m with forward orders of around £3m. Presently the turnover is £43m with forward orders of around £153m.
This client are currently looking to diversify their current range of services, all on the back of Decent Homes, such as facilities management, plumbing, electrical and compliance.
The reason for this vacancy is due to this expansion. The plan over the next 12 months is to recruit a number of new quantity surveyors into the office.
They will be interested in candidates who have a specific understanding of PPC2000 (Partnering) and ECC. Also they like keen, eager people that will look to make a difference and improve the current processes & procedures. Dynamic individuals that can evolve with the company.
