An opportunity has arisen within Reed Exhibitions’ Finance Department in Solihull, Birmingham for a Purchase Ledger Co-ordinator, working as part of a highly motivated team reporting to the Finance Services Manager The main tasks include: - Matching invoices to purchase orders - Entering invoices, expenses and manual payments to computer system - Raising manual payments and foreign currency transfers - Processing BACS payment runs - Liaising with suppliers to ensure all invoices are received and paid on time - Supplier statement reconciliation - Liaising and meeting with show teams in Richmond - Ad-hoc projects and duties The ideal candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following: - Experience of working in a Purchase Ledger role. - Be a flexible team player, committed to meeting tight deadlines. - Have good communication skills and be able to deal with people at all levels both inside and outside the company. - Be very computer literate as they will have to use a variety of computer systems and basic spreadsheet skills are required.
