A superb opportunity for a results-driven credit control supervisior has arisen in Walsall. Our client is keen to procure a candidate with strong experience of leading a small credit control team. The credit landscape at this organisation is characterised by high volume debts from a large number of corporate clients. The debts for the team involve currently run at approx £28m - £34m, comprising of circa 18-22 thousand live accounts. These debts are administered by a team of 11 credit controllers.
The need is therefore for a leader to manage this business and to stremline the debtor profile to ensure cashflow targets are achieved. The ideal candidate will have experience of appraising, mentoring and coaching staff. In addition, a strong commercial understanding of the credit function within the business would be advantageous as liaising with other finance leaders is a major part of this role.
