| Established in 1989, TimePlan introduced the concept of a professional recruitement service for schools and teachers. To date Timeplan has provided over 40,000 teachers to more than 6,000 schools all over the country and has well established links with Local Education Authorities. A larger than average Birmingham School is seeking a Year 1 teacher. Ninety nine per cent of pupils speak English as an additional language and about 25 per cent are in the early stages of English acquisition. The school is an improving school and is working hard to raise standards.The climate for learning is good and pupils have good attitudes to school. Pupils' good behaviour has a positive effect on their learning. The position is currently just for the autumn term with the possibility of an ongoing contract. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and dedicated to enhancing pupils learning experience. The role is open to both Newly Qualified and experienced Teachers. The ideal Teacher for this role will also: Have QTS or an overseas equivalent qualification Have excellent behaviour management skills Knowledge of the National Curriculum Reliable, well organised with great time management skills.
