| This mixed comprehensive requires an English Teacher for September 08. The school is over-subscribed and serves a wide social and ethnic mix. The school aims to help pupils to realise their full potential, to raise their self-esteem and to reduce barriers to learning and is part of the 'Excellence in Cities' initiative. Pupils have a satisfactory attitude to school and staff/pupil relationships are good. The school is a good focal point for its community, providing a wide range of leisure activities during the evenings and at weekends. Established in 1989, TimePlan introduced the concept of a professional recruitment service for schools and teachers. The successful applicants will be enthusiastic and dedicated to enhancing pupils learning experience. The ideal Teachers will also: Have a PGCE, B.Ed or BA. Have QTS or an overseas equivalent qualification Have excellent behaviour management skills Knowledge of the National Curriculum Reliable, well organised with great time management skills.
