Full Description:
Could you provide a high-quality service to our customers and identify new sales opportunities? We’re always looking for more people who enjoy selling and negotiating and who have treating customers fairly at the heart of their values. Customer Service Officers are focused on delivering excellent service quality and maximising sales opportunities through coaching in order to proactively identify and address customer needs. On a day-to-day basis, you will assist in the delivery of the branch retail plan by ensuring all customer needs are met and sales opportunities are maximised. You will ensure that processes and procedures are completed accurately and ensure that contact promises and open sales reminders are actioned.

Successful role holders will enjoy keeping busy and sustaining a high level of energy over a long period of time; driven to achieve challenging targets and keen to improve their own performance. They will be sensitive and understanding towards others; prepared to go out of their way to help. A conscientious approach is important in the Customer Service Officer role, where it is important that deadlines are met and tasks are completed.

Principal Skills

• Good personal judgement when assessing customer needs, providing
confident reasoning on a face to face basis when explaining why
decisions have been taken
• Builds and maintains good relationships with staff through a
genuine desire to understand their needs and support them
• Uses empathy and adapts behaviour and style of communication to
their audience

of work as well as speed of delivery
• Ability to follow instructions and seek advice or look up
