Personnel Officer

Our client is a leading importer and distributor of goods to the retail industry based in North Birmingham / Coventry and they are looking to recruit a Personal Officer to support the directors and line managers in the day to day operations of the company.

This role is a generalist one which will involve daily involvement in all aspects of HR from Employee Relations to Recruitment. You will report directly to the board (who will make all strategic HR decisions) and will be responsible for ensuring that Line Managers and Department Heads follow correct procedure in all operations.
(The work force is about 70 strong including warehouse staff)

You will be the only person in the firm with HR responsibility and will therefore also be expected to keep on top of the HR administration (starters and leavers paperwork, salary reviews, personnel files etc etc)

If you have a generalist HR background in either an assistant or advisor capacity and would enjoy the challenge of the added responsibility that this role affords then call now.
