GCL Direct Ltd is a fast growing, dynamic and professional Business to Business Marketing Services Agency with Blue chip clients from within the IT, Logistics, Professional and Business Service sectors.
Job Purpose
The successful candidate will work as part of a small, targeted team responsible for conducting calls and arranging appointments for our field sales people. He/she will also carry out research on companies and ensure that the prospect database is kept updated.
Main Responsibilities
To carry out a number of daily outgoing calls to a highly professional standard
To generate the maximum number of face-to-face appointments for the field sales people and their prospects
To maintain and build the prospect database by confirming specified customer details
To drive all activity to meet and exceed personal and team targets
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have:
Excellent communication skills.
The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
A pleasant, confident and enthusiastic telephone manner with the ability to produce results.
Able to work hard to meet targets.
Prior experience of working predominantly on the telephone preferred.
Previous telemarketing experience is an advantage, but will train the right applicant.
