We are recruiting for a Product Development Manager for a retailer specific role with a well established bakery.
Reporting to the Group Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for delivering product launches (new and improved) on time, communicating with internal and external departments to meet objectives, ensuring all new packaging is available for kitchen and trials, leading development meetings with Commercial departments, briefing the Innovations team regarding concept briefs after consultation with Group Product Development Manager, submitting internal customer sample submissions form to Test Kitchen, supporting customer visits and launches, monitoring product quality throughout trials and after launch, ensuring concepts meet the cost brief and giving new product presentations to Retailer with adequate presentations.
You will need a previous experience of product development and practical cooking experience in professional Kitchen.
Applicants will ideally be educated to HND or Degree level in Food Technology or other related subject. You will need to have confident product presentation skills and competent levels of bakery knowledge.
It is also essential that candidates can demonstrate a successful track record of working as a team but also as an individual and be IT literate.
This is a fantastic role offering up to £35,000 working Monday to Friday 8.30am -5.00pm; some flexibility due to work load variability will be needed.
The role is based in Warwickshire and is commutable from Coventry, Birmingham, Solihull and Northampton.
