We currently have animmediately available role for an assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on a contract basis for up to 4 months to assist with preparing cost reports / final account projections. Ideally, our client are looking for a degree qualifiedQS with 3-4 years experience preferably with a main contractor but with a good knowledge of the construction industry. This is an office-based job and would involve very little work on site.
IT skills essential with a good knowledge of Excel / Word / Conquest / Masterbill / Contractorplus. Also have the ability to carry out cost variations; accurately monitor costs and have an understanding of the Standard Method of Measurement and JCT Conditions of Contract.
